Estate Select is for those responsible for managing and maintaining common areas within a residential estate or on a private road.

Typically, a policyholder would be a director of a residents’ association or a property management company, or a property owner or developer.

What cover does it offer?

The core cover is Public Liability, which is indispensable. You can also choose to include cover for employers’ liability, material damage to structures, breakdown and inspection of plant, removal of damaged trees and/or Directors’ liability (standalone policy).

How is our policy different?

Estate Select offers a variety of important covers, but it’s up to you to tailor the policy as required. If the common areas extend to a small patch of grass and the concern is only that the postman trips on a tree root, perhaps you’ll want Public Liability on its own; if it’s a large development with communal facilities, you might opt for the whole package.

leasehold properties and their contents

For whom is this policy designed?

Property Select is for those representing a residents’ association or management company, as well as for private landlords and other property owners. It is designed to cover property which is occupied by long-term leaseholders (essentially owner-occupied) or tenanted by those engaged in short-hold tenancy agreements.

What cover does it offer?

You can elect to cover the buildings and/or contents. Automatically included is cover for Public Liability and, depending on the risk, Employers’ Liability. But you can include cover for Equipment Breakdown and Loss of Rent too.

For whom is this policy designed?

Home Select is ideal for homeowners whose properties are non-standard in some respect. It allows the flexibility to properly consider and appropriately underwrite unusual household risks. It is particularly suited to houses built using alternative, sustainable methods; other properties of non-standard construction; church manses, and the homes of church members. But it’s also for any homeowner who is looking for a high level of cover and who wants their insurance to be based on a thoughtful assessment of their property.

What cover does it offer?

Apart from the broad cover you would expect from a quality home insurance product, Home Select includes additional protection for assets such as solar panels and wind turbines. Cover for business and ministry equipment; contents temporarily removed from the home, and charity money is also included as standard. In addition, it safeguards your liability whilst engaged in voluntary work in connection with your church or the community.

How is our policy different?

Our policy offers broad cover and policy conditions which are less onerous than those of most home insurance contracts.
